Hillwood Breaks Ground on Harvest House, a Multifamily Community Within Argyle’s

Hillwood Multifamily has officially broken ground on Harvest House, a 349-unit luxury multifamily community situated adjacent to Harvest Town Center, the retail and commercial component of Hillwood’s 1,200-acre award-winning Harvest master-planned, single-family community in Argyle, Texas. Located at the northeast corner of I-35W and FM 407, Harvest House marks the first luxury multifamily community located within the prestigious Argyle ISD and features 259 upscale apartments and 90 spacious townhomes with private yards.

Harvest House will be located within walking distance of the retail, restaurant and commercial amenities within Harvest Town Center including the recently announced Tom Thumb grocery store, which has broken ground expected to open in the Spring of 2026. 

Anchoring the development is the acclaimed Harvest single-family community which will include over 4,000 homes at full build-out. Harvest House is also located within Hillwood’s broader 27,000-acre AllianceTexas mixed-use, master-planned development which is home to 590 companies supporting over 66,000 direct jobs.

Harvest House will feature thoughtfully designed one-, two- and three-bedroom apartment homes and townhomes ranging from 662 to 1,758 square feet. Each apartment home is meticulously crafted with high-end finishes, spacious layouts, and contemporary design elements, ensuring a luxurious and comfortable living experience. Community amenities include, a resort-style pool, a 24-hour fitness center, automated package lockers, dog park, EV charging stations, and controlled access. Work-from-home conveniences include co-working spaces with private offices, conference rooms, community-wide private Wi-Fi, and a modern clubhouse with a coffee bar. The community will include ample open space with play areas and, as part of the greater Harvest community, residents of Harvest House will also have access to the extensive system of walking and bike paths in the broader 1,200-acre development.

The first units at Harvest House are anticipated to be available for lease in early 2026, and the full project completion is expected by late 2026. Pre-leasing will commence in the Fall of 2025. The project is a joint venture between Hillwood Properties and Hillwood Communities, with financing provided by Comerica Bank.
