Position Summary:
Hillwood Communities is seeking a Marketing Manager to execute strategic marketing initiatives for our growing portfolio of projects in Dallas, TX. This role is responsible for managing agency relationships, collaborating with internal teams, and ensuring the successful execution of marketing plans within scope, budget, and timeline.
The ideal candidate is a proactive, strategic thinker with a proven track record of managing multiple marketing initiatives in a fast-paced environment. They thrive on collaboration, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and bring creative problem-solving skills to every challenge. Reporting to the DFW Director of Marketing, this role requires adaptability, attention to detail, and a results-driven mindset.
Responsibilities:
Project Management:
- Collaborate regularly with the DFW Marketing Director and stakeholders to align branding strategies and elevate Hillwood Communities’ market presence.
- Oversee all marketing initiatives, ensuring completion on schedule, within budget, and at or above expected quality.
- Manage agency teams in the development and execution of marketing plans, brand positioning, websites, print collateral, signage, point-of-sale advertising, video, and email campaigns.
- Draft detailed scope-of-work proposals and manage third-party vendor relationships to align deliverables with strategic project objectives.
- Maintain proactive communication with internal management and clients, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Track and analyze competitive community pricing, homebuilder activities, and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
Digital Marketing and Communications:
- Manage agency partner(s), providing direction for the development and execution of digital and traditional marketing campaigns, including oversight of website content, social media strategy, digital advertisements, and SEO initiatives.
- Regularly audit digital content, including websites, digital ads, and social media platforms, ensuring accuracy and timely responses to customer engagements.
- Manage agency partners to generate and distribute email content to consumers and Realtors; monitor results monthly.
Public Relations & Recognition:
- Supervise PR agency to manage local media relations, including drafting press releases.
- Coordinate submissions for community awards, targeting local, state, and national recognition opportunities.
Team Engagement:
- Coordinator with lifestyle managers and Homeowners Association (HOA) managers to align marketing strategies with community activities and events.
- Maintain proactive collaboration with internal stakeholders, including regular meetings with General Managers and Development Managers, to review marketing strategies, progress, and necessary adjustments.
- Support presentations to internal leadership, customers, and stakeholders as needed.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to handle competing priorities, adapt quickly to changing situations, and maintain strong attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills; confident interacting with senior executives and diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience tracking performance metrics and providing actionable insights for continual improvement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint); familiarity with platforms such as GSuite, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and web/video conferencing tools.
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, digital marketing analytics, CRM systems, and website content management; knowledge of Cecilian Partners is a plus.
- Ability to maintain composure, adapt quickly to changing priorities, and resolve challenges with a positive, solution-oriented mindset.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience considered.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in consumer-focused marketing, communications, or advertising.
- Real estate, homebuilding, or master-planned community marketing experience is highly desirable.
