The newest retail store at Victory Park opened this past weekend: V.O.D., owned by former Dallas Morning News fashion writer Jackie Bolin and her two partners, Elizabeth O’Mahony and Liz Thompson. The store’s understated space (save for a ’60s-era round settee, a seeming nod to its Valley of the Dolls name) features cool-girl looks with more hanger appeal than recognizable names. The names you will know come from archivevintage.com, including pitch-perfect dresses from Azzedine Alaia and Gianni Versace and vintage bags from Gucci.
